The Museum of Siberian Entrepreneurship is located in the Gostiny Dvor building. The unique monument of architecture was built in 1703-1708 by the architect, cartographer and historian of Siberia Semyon Remezov. By building this vast stone structure, the Russian government sought to give the new shopping center of Tobolsk a representative appearance.

The museum’s exposition reflects three centuries of the formation and development of entrepreneurship and trade in Tobolsk and is represented by several themes: “Siberian Trade Route”, “Tea Trade Route”, “Customs”, “Siberian trade”, “Tobolsk as the center of Siberia of the XVII-XIX centuries”.

Guests will be able to see authentic items of local production and trade, including furs, dishes of the XVII-XIX centuries, as well as Siberian coins of the XVII–XIX centuries, etc.

Also in the Gostiny Dvor are placed:

– Permanent exhibition of the Chamber of the Siberian Voivode.

– Nettle workshop. A great opportunity not only to see the true masterpieces of the forgotten craft, but also to take part in master classes in the production of nettle thread and weaving.

Working hours: from Tuesday to Sunday from 10.00 to 18.00, Monday is a day off.
