Museum of the History of Orthodoxy in Siberia

A significant milestone in the development of Orthodoxy in Siberia was the appearance of the Bishop’s House on the territory of the Kremlin, built in 1775.

In 2014, together with the Tobolsk-Tyumen Metropolia, a unique project was implemented – the Museum of the History of Orthodoxy in Siberia, which became a true chronicle of the birth, formation and spread of Orthodoxy in the Siberian Region.

The museum continues its activities to introduce residents and guests of the city to the cultural and historical traditions of the Siberian Region, and also actively assists educational and public structures of the city in solving the problems of spiritual and moral education of young people.
