The Church of Zacharias and Elizabeth (Resurrection) was founded in 1759 in two floors. There were 6 thrones in it. The church was consecrated only in 1776. The author of the project is not established, but it is known that all the work was supervised by Tobolsk master Andrey Gorodnichev.

A huge two-story church with a solemn monumental composition and rich diverse decor belongs to the best examples of the”Siberian baroque”. Around the church there is a beautiful metal fence on stone pillars.

The Church of Zacharias and Elizabeth was also famous for its miraculous icon. Icon of the “Joy of All who mourn” of the ancient ancient letter.
In this church in 1828-1832, the famous Russian composer, author of the romance “The Nightingale” A. A. Alyabyev, exiled to his native city, served his penance.

From 1836 to 1839 P. P. Yershov lived in the parish of the Zakharyevskaya Church

Currently, the church is open after restoration.
