At the beginning of Rosa Luxemburg Street is the building of the Catholic Church of the Holy Trinity, the largest church in Siberia.

The history of the church is connected with the Polish population of Tobolsk.

In 1848, the first wooden Catholic church appeared in Tobolsk.

In the second half of the XIX century, the Polish diaspora in Siberia began to raise funds for the construction of a stone cathedral, which was consecrated on August 23, 1907 in honor of the Holy Trinity.

Currently, the services in the church are accompanied by the sound of the organ, which was donated to the church after the restoration. The church also hosts concerts of classical and organ music.

On the territory of the church there are monuments to Pope John Paul II and Saint Raphael Kalinovsky. The relics of St. John Paul II, donated in 2017 by Archbishop-Metropolitan of Lviv Mieczyslaw Mokshicki, are the relics of the church. Tobolsk is the only city in Russia awarded this honor.
