The Tobolsk Cathedral Mosque is an architectural monument of the XIX century. A stone building with a minaret, built in 1890 at the expense of donations from Muslims of the Tobolsk province, on the site of an old wooden mosque. The structure has a three-part structure: the oratory room, the minaret and their connecting link. The octagonal pointed minaret consists of three tiers.

In 1988, the building of the former mosque was transferred to the Muslim community of Tobolsk. In 1990, the mosque was restored by the parishioners.

Since 1998, the Spiritual Administration of Muslims of the Asian part of Russia (DUMACHR) has been located here.

The building is currently used for its intended purpose.
