The complex of state-owned wine warehouses was built in 1914 according to a standard project.
According to the project, the Tobolsk complex of wine warehouses included seven main structures: a purification wine warehouse, a room for tanks, a gatehouse with a control cold, a reception room with a gatehouse, a cooperage, a stone material warehouse and a residential building. The buildings are designed in a single “brick style”, typical of commercial and industrial architecture of the late XIX-early XX centuries.

In Soviet times, since February 8, 1920, the Tobolsk Biofactory, the only one outside the Urals, was located here. It produced medicinal serums for farm animals, which were also supplied abroad.
